HVAC Performance Assessment

Our HVAC Performance Assessment goes beyond a basic inspection to give you a full diagnostic picture of how your heating and cooling system is actually performing — measured, not guessed.

Is your system running the way it should – or just running?

Using calibrated diagnostic tools, our technicians evaluate your system across the factors that actually determine comfort, efficiency, and equipment life — not just whether it turns on.

The result is a clear, data-backed report on your system's actual operating condition. Not a visual check, not a guess — a real look at how efficiently your equipment is performing, with the numbers to back it up.

Core Diagnostics

What we measure, and why it matters

Delta T (Temperature Split)

We measure the difference between supply and return air temperatures to confirm the system is properly heating or cooling the air passing through it. A Delta T outside the expected range is often the first sign of a refrigerant, airflow, or equipment issue.

1 - Temperature

Pressure Imbalances

We identify inconsistencies in supply and return pressures that can point to duct restrictions, undersized returns, or airflow bottlenecks — issues that are invisible to a standard visual inspection but directly affect comfort room to room.

2 - Pressure

Static Pressure Testing

We measure total external static pressure against manufacturer specifications to catch airflow issues that quietly reduce efficiency, increase energy costs, and shorten equipment life.

How the system performs in your home

Beyond The Equipment

Home Measurements

Whole-Home Readings

A collection of measurements is taken throughout the home, including temperature, humidity, and dew point, to identify whether home temperament is within a typical range — or whether a deeper issue may be present.

Airflow

TrueFlow Grid

An accurate measurement of your system's total airflow, measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM). This helps us assess whether your system is moving a proper amount of air, or whether there's a deficiency in its functionality.

Optional Add-On

Duct Leakage Testing

For homes and buildings where duct losses are a concern, we offer duct leakage testing as an add-on service. This test pressurizes the duct system to pinpoint air leakage, helping quantify energy loss and identify areas where sealing or repair would deliver the biggest return.
